Diablo 3 Can't Click Login
Diablo 2 actually promotes players to join party and fight together. Being in a party, players are actually rewarded with more experience and a higher drop rate. Shouldn't Diablo 3 have a similar concept?
on paper, being in a party means that you kill faster (due to the way monster health scales with more players) so you get more loot and exp. in practice, its not terribly noticable.
You actually get the higher drop rates in D3 also. The thing is in D2 everyone shared all the loot so when stuff dropped everyone saw it, but in D3 you all get individual look so playing with 2 people is actually getting you twice as much loot if you're willing to share with your party.
Was so better with the D2 system, now it's finally better and faster to do a run alone than using a team.
PS : The 4 Players team also suck, 8 was soooo better (coming with the extension i guess).

1) Significant *or better* loot drops increase can be easily done by stacking all players MF.
2) Significant Increase in experience point bonus. 2 players 200% more, 3 players 300% more etc.
3) Further reduce the monster HP and damage scaling in party games.
But then it can be exploited by multiboxing !
